We started our journey as a distributor of engineering products in 1984. With the commitment to be your preferred business partner, we constantly refine the quality of our services throughout these years. Our services have since expanded to include stocking, engineering design and fabrication.
Since we were listed in 1994, our continuing effort in quality service has been repeatedly affirmed through achieving pronounced certification. It is our promise to carry this same focus as we grow with you.
Our Profile
1984 - We were Founded
Oakwell Engineering Limited was founded in 1984. We started as a distributor of engineering products for the oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, marine and utilities industries. We supply power, control and instrument specialty cables, heat tracing cables, explosion-proof electrical construction materials and equipment, and all other electronic products. In addition, we also supply mechanic products like special alloy copper nickel pipes and fittings, valves, compressors, pumps, equipment system packages etc.
1990 - The Move
Ever since then, we have grown steadily. In 1990, we moved to our present premise with an approximate size of 1 200 square meters office space, 3 400 square meters factory space and warehousing facilities.
1994 - Public Listed and ISO Certified
In 1992, we expanded our business operations from distribution to engineering design and fabrication. Two years after, we went public and were listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange. We also obtained the ISO9002 certification.
Present- Going Strong
To date, we achieved a broad clientele base worldwide, including The United States, China, Japan, Korea, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. This is due to a number of subsidiaries and associates operating in various countries. We also have upgraded to ISO 9001: 2000 standard.
